Bullish Avid Announces New Ongoing Crossgrade Offer for Final Cut Pro Users

AVID’s recently shown a concept for the next major release of Media Composer, they are due a software update in the next couple of months to follow their recent two a year policyAVID today announced that beginning 1 October 2011, it will offer a Final Cut Pro crossgrade price for qualified customers on an ongoing basis. The new crossgrade will allow Final Cut Pro users to buy Media Composer for $1499 USD. Avid’s current limited-time cross grade promotion, at $995 USD, ends at the end of the month.
The new Avid Crossgrade offer for Final Cut Pro will be available 1 October 2011. Final Cut Pro (excluding Final Cut Pro X) users will be able to buy Media Composer with the Production suite and free online training to help them move from Final Cut Pro to Media Composer, for $1499 USD.
Avid is currently offering a limited-time Final Cut Pro Crossgrade offer, which will expire 30 September 2011. Final Cut Pro (excluding Final Cut Pro X) users can purchase Media Composer 5.5, with the Production suite and free online training to help them move from Final Cut Pro to Media Composer, for $995 USD. This limited-time offer expires 30 September 2011.
