Posted on Nov 7, 2025 by Admin

This year’s FilmLight Colour Awards jury has selected 25 standout nominees across six creative categories, with the winners to be revealed at EnergaCAMERIMAGE

At Cooke Gallery London, FilmLight officially announced the nominees for the 2025 FilmLight Colour Awards. Now in their fifth year, the awards attracted over 500 entries from 47 countries, demonstrating talent from across the globe. The independent jury, led by colourist Bradford Young, ASC, has revealed the names of the 25 colourists shortlisted across six categories.

“It has been an honour and a true pleasure to serve as president of this year’s FilmLight Colour Awards jury,” said Young. “Not only have my fellow jurors and I tremendously enjoyed the work we have borne witness to, but the fruitful and inspired conversations it spawned amongst us.”

This year’s nominees span theatrical features, TV series, commercials and music videos. Among the shortlisted are Damien Vandercruyssen for Mickey 17, Jean-Clement Soret for Andor Season 2 and Tim Masick for Gucci’s ‘We Will Always Have London’ commercial.

The list also celebrates emerging artists and unsung heroes, with nominees in the Spotlight and Emerging Talent categories. Projects in these categories include Franziska Heinemann’s work on the Bluff Bounce ‘Prologue’ project and Ondřej Štibingr’s grading for Duchoň, showcasing the fresh talent shaping the industry.

Reflecting on the FilmLight Colour Awards, Young praised the creativity of the submissions. “What’s most evident about this year’s work is that the world of colour is a growing and dynamic expression harnessed by an international community of great artists. Thus, was true of our jury. This process was a true, unfiltered example of how cinema can bring us together.”

This year’s winners will be announced at the annual FilmLight Colour Awards ceremony, taking place at EnergaCAMERIMAGE in Poland on Sunday 16 November 2025.
