Eastbrook Studios opens for production

Posted on Feb 3, 2025

A major force in British film and television, Eastbrook Studios welcomes a wave of new productions to its stages

Eastbrook Studios now positions itself as London’s largest film and television production campus. Spanning 21.5 acres, the newly built campus meets the demands of the industry with its extensive soundstages and purpose-built facilities.

For large-scale sets, 50-foot clear heights and operable walls provide space and interconnectivity. Beyond the stages, there are specialised workshops, offices and support spaces.

In addition to the generous inside capacity, Eastbrook Studios’ backlot areas easily accommodate exterior film sets. These spaces can be used in tandem with nearby cityscapes, urban landscapes and rural locations to assist a variety of productions.

Eastbrook Studios’ managing director, Bentley Bissette, highlights the flexibility and modernness of the campus, describing the site as a “new creative hub” which is “among the world’s finest.”

The studio promotes its approach to sustainability and community engagement, transforming a previously unused East London lot into a cutting-edge facility and working with local boroughs to create educational and employment opportunities.

The central location of the campus makes it accessible for both domestic and international productions. Easy access in and out of the capital is afforded by the studio’s links to the London Underground and London City Airport.

This MBS-powered studio helps productions access world-leading production equipment resources with its modern studio operating and technical teams.
