Cooke Optics opens a new office and test space in Hyderabad, India, strengthening ties with the country’s thriving film industry and supporting regional sales and demos

Cooke Optics has announced the opening of a new office and test space in Hyderabad, India, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion plans. The move also recognises India’s burgeoning film industry, which has been enjoying remarkable success of late – including some major productions shot on Cooke lenses.

Thanks to big hitters like Dinesh Purushothaman’s Maharaja and Arthur A Wilson’s Garudan, the Indian market has continually been a significant area of focus for Cooke Optics. The new office will function as a central hub for customer demonstrations, regional sales and support.

It will also serve as an event space, allowing Cooke to build stronger relationships with local partners and attract the region’s top DOPs.
