Introducing the Definition magazine Lighting Excellence Awards!

Posted on Dec 10, 2024 by Admin

Following the success of our Virtual Production Awards earlier this year, we’re delighted to introduce the inaugural Definition Lighting Excellence Awards. These unique accolades celebrate both technical innovation and individual talent, recognising the best-in-class products, services and the visionaries driving the industry forward.

Categories up for grabs include Star Gaffer – nominated by YOU – which celebrates the brightest spark on the scene, plus we’ll be shining a light on excellence in lighting design for feature films and TV shows released in 2024.

We’ll also recognise companies leading the way in lighting technology, with awards for advancements in panel lights, waterproof fixtures, LED processing, colour technology, essential accessories and more. The awards will also celebrate the companies making significant contributions through training and education, rental services and distribution, as well as those dedicated to improving affordability and sustainability in lighting.

From excellence in live events to a special award for a company with an outstanding contribution to innovation – these awards are designed to celebrate the best of the best in the lighting industry, showcasing the exceptional work of all the people and companies shaping the future of the field.

Winners will be announced in Definition’s January issue, going to print on 10 January. The special will also be reprinted as a standalone magazine, to be distributed at key shows throughout the year including BSC Expo, NAB and Cine Gear. To ensure your company, product or a deserving individual is recognised, contact Emma Stevens or Sam Scott-Smith today for the full list of categories and entry details!
